4 Everyday Things That Many Girls Are Insecure About
In today's society, young women are brainwashed into looking a certain way, which makes them feel like they are not good enough.

While looks should not matter, and loving yourself should, many girls and women feel insecure every day.
Here are four things that many girls are insecure about.
1. Their bodies
In my opinion, girls worry too much about their bodies. This might include their weight or shape, and making comparisons of their bodies against others. On social media, we see photoshopped images of people modelling and advertising. This makes people, especially girls, think that their bodies are not ‘sexy’ enough.

2. Their skin
Some girls think that having good skin is the key to being pretty. Yet many females suffer from some skin conditions such as acne, vitiligo, wrinkles and scarring. This includes some well-known celebrities, like Cameron Diaz. However, not having perfect skin doesn’t define who you are as a person in any way, shape or form.

3. Relationships
It is very common for girls to feel like they are not valued or listened to enough in a relationship. At a young age, girls are pressured into doing things that they are not comfortable doing, leading to an unhealthy and toxic relationship. People should feel comfortable and have control over the things they do.
4. Being ‘themselves’
‘Being yourself’ is something that teenage girls are often told to do, but struggle with. That’s because being compared to others can make their self-esteem plummet. Often, it’s best to be yourself and be happy.
After all, the only person you really need to please?
Yourself.
