Who is Cardi B?
Cardi B is an American hip-hop rapper, singer and songwriter. She comes from a Dominican and Trinidadian background but was raised in The Bronx, New York City.
When she was 19 she decided to become a stripper to earn money. She also took part in a reality show called Love & Hip-Hop.
Today she is the only female rapper who has won more than one Billboard award.

It is believed that she became a rapper because it was always her passion as a young girl and was something she always enjoyed.

Cardi’s parents never had much money so she dropped out of school and worked as a stripper to earn money. She ranted about her job on Instagram and gained many followers, which eventually led to her appearing on American reality show Love & Hip-Hop. Some regarded her as the breakout star of her season.
