More Than 1,600 Arrests For Drug-Related Crime in Harrow Over 5 Years
More than 1,600 people were taken into Harrow custody suite by police for drug-related crime between 2015 and 2019.

A total of 1,631 people were taken to Harrow custody suite after being arrested for drug-related crime between 2015 to 2019.
Around 43 percent of those arrested were aged between 20 and 29, the age group with the most number of arrests, young people aged 10 to 19 came in second with 466 arrests.
Between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2019, Metropolitan Police Service recorded 15 incidents of drug possession on buses in Harrow.
While these figures show how many people were taken into the Harrow police station, this does not fully demonstrate how much crime is in this area as the holding cells are now used as a contingency suite.
