A total of 1,832 children and young people were treated by mental health specialists in Hounslow last year.

Of all the patients of the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) at West London NHS Trust, 42 were diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and 12 with childhood autism up until December 2019.

Hounslow Council allocated £605,872 for 2018/19, which was increased by £5,824 the following financial year, on top of the funding invested by NHS Hounslow CCG. ‬

The findings were made by media literacy charity The Student View through a Freedom of Information request.

Hounslow Council and West London NHS Trust have been approached for comment.
