No Intake Projection For Ethnicity or Religion In Southwark Schools, Say Council
Projections of intake are not made by the council.

Schools in Southwark do not make intake projections with regards ethnicity and religion, according to Southwark Council.
In response to a request for data on “the council’s school intake projections for the next five years, broken down by ethnicity and religion”, the council replied,
“We do not provide (nor are required to provide) ethnic group or religious group projections for schools or the school age population.
“We do receive school roll projections from the Greater London Authority (GLA) but solely split by gender, age group, and planning area.”
The GLA “produces ethnic group projections at a borough wide level”, however, “there is no equivalent projection for religion.”
The findings were made by The Student View, a media literacy charity.
