There are two leagues the American Football Conference and the National Football Conference that consist of 4 mini-leagues (North, South, East and West). You're placed in these leagues depending on your location.

There are 4 weeks of pre-season games that take place before the regular seasons. In these 4 weeks, all NFL teams play 4 matches to prepare for the season ahead. These matches do not contribute to your regular season point tally, they are simply for the teams to get ready for the regular season.

The regular season

In the regular season, teams play 16 games with the aim of getting into the playoffs to have a chance of winning the Super Bowl.
