Being organised is one of the most useful ways to guide your life in the correct direction. Organisation skills are helpful no matter what age or gender you are and they will benefit you throughout your entire life.
Have you got your day planned?
Making a daily routine may even be seen as a joke to some people but by having a time plan of everything you want to do during the day will help you achieve so much more, and more efficiently too! Since phones are overtaking the majority of our daily lives why not put them to some use. You can use a variety of free apps to make a checklist and even type notes of everything you want to do on a daily basis, which you can change and update as time passes. Even a revision timetable! You can write down times to do certain things. This will help you manage your time and if you think you’ve forgotten to do something all you have to do is check your notes to remind yourself. If you are required to do something in about 7 days and you know you’re going to forget why not type it up on a note really quickly. Since phones are portable and we usually have access to them, being late and forgetting things will be a thing of the past.
When was the last time you cleaned your room?
Your room is the first thing you are exposed to as you struggle to open your eyes during the early hours of the day. Something as simple as making your bed is something many struggle to do. I mean it barely takes 30 seconds! One of the first things I recommend doing to sort your life out is cleaning your bedroom. There are many ways to do this and here are a few tips. You can organise your wardrobe by giving any unwanted clothes to charity, hanging clothes together based on their colour and neatly folding certain tops or jumpers together rather than hurling them into your closet when you’re done with them. You should also sort out a desk area for yourself since this can be helpful for almost everything. A desk can be used for revising, for work, and even for gaming!
Are you a healthy person?
Exercise and a healthy diet are extremely useful since they affect the amount of energy that you have during the day and in the long-term, they can affect your life-span. You should research about balancing your diet and just exercising for about 10 minutes a day. I’m not telling you to completely ban junk food since many, myself included, would find that near-impossible! However, the more energy you have affects how much you achieve during the day. If you don’t get enough sleep and are reliant on sugary drinks to keep you going throughout the day you will be less focused and lazier. Habits like this can have detrimental effects on your life since you will be a less productive and less active person.
What are you passionate about?
Figure out what you want to do in life. The earlier the better but just remember it is never too late! The next step is to strive for it. It may be hard but the more productive you are, the more you revise in order to achieve grades necessary and the more determined you are will get you to where you want to be. How amazing do you think it will feel when all your hard work pays off? Don’t wait until tomorrow but start today! Figure out your goals and go for them. Organise your life and achieve! It’s easier than you think.
