Crystal Pepsi was a soft drink made by Pepsi in 1992 and brought back in 2016. It was taken off shelves due to Coca-Cola releasing an alternative. What makes Crystal Pepsi unique?

It’s caffeine-free

Crystal Pepsi was made without caffeine and as such remains healthier than normal Pepsi.

It’s clear

Unlike other current types of Pepsi, Crystal Pepsi is clear. This means it looks like you’re drinking water or lemonade. You could give it to people and say it's water.

People want it back

In March 2015, a petition to bring back Crystal Pepsi began. This petition gathered 38,650 signatures. Austin S, the creator of the petition, said: “A lot of younger people, including myself, have never gotten the chance to taste this unique drink, and today's society would enjoy this comeback because of society's obsession with all things 'retro'."

The others

Crystal Pepsi has some competitors. These competitors are 7 Up Ice Cola, and Tab Clear. Ice Cola and Tab Clear were both discontinued due to poor sales. Crystal Pepsi came back for a bit, but the others didn’t. Tab Clear was also deliberately made and marketed badly in order to sabotage Crystal Pepsi.
