Stereotypes are ideas imposed upon groups of people because of their race, nationality, and their gender, among others. For example, the idea that boys and girls have different jobs meant for them.
Stereotypes are weapons, destroying people's minds
People are so influenced by what other people tell them is the right thing to do, to the point that they lose their own voices. They are stripped of what makes them unique. Parents are also realising that their children are being influenced by social media. I think that stereotypes can be so harmful because most people's thoughts are based on it.
Corruption of young minds
Young minds in today's society have been tricked into thinking that what they see on social media is right. Social media is a platform for stereotypes. Celebrities post images and people believe that is how their body is meant to look.

Most people judge others before they meet them. Also, someone's judgments can influence people a lot.
Society has changed
Society has changed way too much for people to still be thinking in that mindset. Technology has changed so why can’t our thoughts.
