Michael Jackson died at his Hollywood home in Holmy Hills, Los Angeles at 1 am. His doctor found him unconscious in his bed and not breathing. Apparently, the doctor started doing CPR in his bed, then called 911.
The tragedy of a pop star
Michael Jackson was getting ready for his big comeback tour just the day before his death. He was going to perform at the O2 area in London. He was going to do 50 shows but his fans were questioning if he could pull it off. Jermaine Jackson, Michael's brother, said his little brother was ready and could pull it off.
The night before his death it was a pretty good energetic performance for the singer, running through 12 songs and dances. The comeback tour was Michael's big tour to success because he didn’t perform for 10 to 12 years previously. He was also possibly in debt so to pay them all off he needed a comeback tour.
Death of Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson returned to his Hollywood mansion on the day of his death. There was a big secret that nobody knew: Michael was using an anaesthetic called propofol to sleep, but the drug had strict controls on how it should be used. That’s how dangerous the drug was, but how was it given to him? His doctor Conrad Murray gave it to him. Murry first met Michael in 2005.
