Why do people revise for exams?

Students revise for exams because then they could gain the highest marks possible. By receiving the highest marks you get a great reputation and can go to good colleges and universities. If you revise properly there is a great chance of you getting good results.

How to revise

Waking up early in the morning to revise helps to take in the information you need. This is because when you wake up your mind is fresh and open. Also making flashcards is an excellent way because they build up confidence. Also the environment you are working in has to be very calm and quiet. This will help you to revise without distractions.

What are the consequences of not revising?

If you do not revise there are many negative issues you would face.  If you don’t revise, your parents will be bugging you. So instead of getting annoyed by parents for not revising you might as well just revise. Also if you don’t revise you will get low marks which could upset family members who were hoping that their child was going to get outstanding results.

My revision experience

I always revise whenever I have an exam coming up. This means that I should get good marks. I tend to try to get 100% but it is quite difficult. I revise English, Maths, Science, Geography, History and French. The way I revise is by creating flash cards, posters and by highlighting key facts from the textbook.
