Stoke Council Unprepared For Climate Change
Stoke-on-Trent City Council does not have any current cost estimates or projections for the next decade for dealing with climate change.
Stoke on Trent City Council have admitted that they do not know how much climate change is costing the council, admitting they also do not have a specific isolated budget for climate change adaptation.
They have said that “the City Council is in the process of establishing a Climate Change Commission in order to respond to any challenges that Climate Change may present.”
The council does not have any estimates for how much climate change adaptation costs the council annually, or any projections for the next decade.
The findings were made by the media literacy charity The Student View.
