Who is Peter Dinklage?

Peter Dinklage is an American actor and producer who has starred in many movies and shows such as Avengers: Infinity War, Underdog and popular HBO’s fantasy drama Game of Thrones. He is most commonly known for his role in Game of Thrones as the ‘Imp’, Tyrion Lannister.

What is his background?

Peter Hayden Dinklage was born on the 11th June 1969, in New Jersey, America. He was born with achondroplasia, a common form of dwarfism. He grew up with his parents and his older brother, Jonathan Dinklage.

What was early acting career like?

Dinklage initially struggled to find work as an actor, partially because he refused to take on stereotypical dwarf roles such as elves and leprechauns. He made his first credited film debut in the low-budget independent comedy-drama called Living in Oblivion in 1995. The film had been well received by critics, yet Dinklage still could not find someone willing to be his agent.
