YouTube Space London hosted The Student View X NewsTalks, with Google News Initiative, in celebration of World News Day 2019.

On April 30th 2019, YouTube Space London hosted our inaugural NewsTalks event.

We were joined by journalists from various major publications including The Guardian, BBC and Channel 4, and students from schools nationwide. Guest were in for a very special afternoon filled with learning, conversation, games, chatter and more.

NewsTalks was also in celebration World Press Freedom Day 2019 and World News Day 2019. The Student View founded the latter day’s ‘sixth pillar’, which promotes the value of media literacy.
